What can be built on land that has no septic tank approval?
Hi, I purchased a 1/2 acre of land in the Poconos about 3 or 4 years ago. The land is in a residential area and for some reason my plot of land does not have an approval for a septic system because according to the town there is a man made lake nearby. I end up paying tax annually having no use for the land what so ever. I never attempted to list it or sell it… but if there is no other option in utilizing the land, I might be forced to. Believe me, the area is beautiful and its close to NYC… the only problem is getting a septic approval somehow. Does anyone know if I can do anything else with this land? Possibly a storage facility, or maybe even something crazy like putting solar panels across the land and selling the extra energy back to the grid… at this point, I’ll take any idea… doesn’t matter if its crazy, please list your ideas. Thank you very much for taking time in reading this… your suggestions are greatly appreciated. =)
I don’t know if it will be of any help, because I don’t know about the water from shower, laundry and dish water; however there are composting toilets and incinerating toilets
