The Best 6 TV's of 2016
We all know what it's like:
You go to buy a new TV and you're faced with pushy salesman and confusing specifications.
Is that you?
Well, not to worry, here we break down our Top 5 TV's and explain everything you need to know.
First things first:
Your budget. The right TV for you depends entirely on what you will use it for and how much you're willing to spend.
A very basic low end 50" TV should cost you around £350-400.
A more advanced SmartTV with features such as Netflix, and you may have to increase your budget dramatically.
A few of the basics...
1080p is now the norm. This basically means that your screen has 1080 pixels vertically and 1920 horizontally.
While 4K (3840x2160) is slowly taking over, I'd still recommend 1080p to most people.
4K is currently not worth the extra cash. Unless you're going to buy expensive 4K blu-ray players and specific 4K blu-rays. Broadcasting companies generally use 1080p.
In our TV reviews, we take into consideration:
- Video quality
- Sound quality
We rated the Hisense 85" 4K SmartTV the top of our list due to it's colossal size and 4K resolution.
Now, I understand this will be way out of budget for most, but if you can afford it, it's an absolute beast.
- Hisense 85" 4K Smart TV
- Sony 75" KDL-75W855C
- Sony 65" 65S8005C
- Hisense 65" 4K Smart TV
- Panasonic 50" TX-50DX700B
- Hisense 43" 4K Smart TV
While Hisense are not the best brand, they offer the best bang for buck. Hence why they contribute the most of our list.
